About This Report

The Distributor Statistical Comparison (DSC) Report analyzes and compares member companies based on size, line of business, and geographic region. The survey compiles data from member companies’ balance sheets, income statements, and operating data. MHEDA recommends the survey be completed by an accounting manager, CFO, or CEO and estimates it takes less than an hour to complete. For those short on time, Mackay Research Group can input your data for you—contact Taylor at taylor@mackayresearchgroup.com for assistance.

Companies with segmented financial performance by division are encouraged to complete separate DSC surveys for each line of business. Upon completion, participants receive industry-specific reports in PDF and Excel dashboard formats. The interactive dashboard provides a dynamic analysis of the company’s data with detailed management commentary.

Confidentiality is ensured, as only Mackay Research Group staff access the data through secure Dropbox links, with results aggregated to prevent identification of individual companies.
